Canterbury, the Episcopal Community of Rice and the TMC, is called to build up God's Kingdom and serve Jesus Christ by:

• Nurturing and strengthening the faith and commitment of students, faculty and staff of the Texas Medical Center Schools and Rice University. 

• Inviting and welcoming others into our community of worship and discipleship. 

• Modeling and sharing the Anglican tradition of thoughtful faith and worship to the greater community.
